SHOUT! Arts

What We Do

SHOUT! Arts is a non-profit, community-led, arts program based in Los Banos, California and Oakland, California. Comprised of over 60 members ranging in age from 4 to 67, SHOUT! offers low-cost workshops in the visual, performance, musical and craft arts.  All of our members reside in Central California and Northern California-Bay Area area communities.

SHOUT! Arts offers weekly arts workshops.  Each workshop includes at least one major performance or exhibition. Many of the workshops also offer fieldtrips!  By working with city, community and school organizations, like the City Parks & Recreation Department, the Chamber of Commerce, the University of California at Berkeley and the Unified School Districts, SHOUT! Arts is able to present year-round community wide performances.


SHOUT! Arts seeks to

•   create community solidarity across ethnic, cultural, religious and economic boundaries;

•   become a cultural resource and an educational access point for community arts/artists; and

•   promote healthy living by spirited and visible example.
