If you have a paid Shout subscription, then you automatically have access to a local text number. If for any reason you need to get a new number, such as relocating to another state, changing your number is simple.
In the web app at shout.app, navigate to Settings in the left-side navigation, then click Customer Service under Services. Click Disconnect Service, and select a new state for your desired number.
Follow the same process to get a new Marketing number by clicking on Marketing under Services on the Settings page.
Once you disconnect your current number, it CANNOT be recovered or reassigned to you. Only disconnect a number if you are sure you will not be using it again.
