Scheduled Messages

Write messages in advance and schedule them to go out automatically at a future date or time

Save time and stay on top of customer communication by planning and scheduling messages in advance.

For example...

  • Schedule a message when a customer places an order to follow-up with them in a few weeks  and to prompt them to re-order
  • Schedule motivational messages or reminders to go out to your team daily, weekly, or monthly

How To Schedule Messages

Web

From the Scheduled tab in the left side navigation:

  1. Click New Message or New Group Message to start composing
  2. Select the Contact, then choose which Service to send your message through
  3. Use the composer to create your message 
  4. Click the clock icon to choose when you’d like the message to be sent
  5. When you’re ready, click Send to save the message

From an open message thread: 

  1. Compose your message
  2. Click the clock icon and choose a delivery date and time, then click Set Time
  3. Click Schedule to save your message 
Mobile
  1. Compose a new message
  2. Tap Schedule to pick a date and time
  3. Tap Save 

Where to View Upcoming Scheduled Messages

Web

You can see all your scheduled messages from the Scheduled tab on the left side navigation, as well as in the contact profile of the recipient. 

Mobile

You can view scheduled messages to an individual by selecting the clock icon in an open message.

The clock icon will also have a red dot whenever that recipient has a message scheduled to them to let you know there is one in the queue. 

You can view scheduled messages to a Group by selecting the Group and tapping the Scheduled Messages button.

How to Edit or Delete a Scheduled Message

Web

You can edit or delete your scheduled messages in the Scheduled tab in the left side navigation by selecting the three-dot menu to the right of the scheduled message you wish to change.

From an individual contact profile in the Inbox or Contacts tab, select the scheduled message you’d like to edit or delete.

Mobile

From an open message thread

  1. Tap the clock icon to see the scheduled message(s)
  2. Tap the message you’d like to edit
  3. Select Edit Time or Edit Text to make changes
  4. Tap Send to save changes

Delete by tapping the “X” next to the Scheduled Message.

From the Groups tab:

  1. Tap the Group 
  2. Tap Scheduled Messages
  3. Tap the message you’d like to edit 
  4. Select Edit Time or Edit Text to make changes
  5. Tap Send to save changes

Delete by tapping the “X” next to the Scheduled Message.
